But there were a few bugs and oddities in the vanilla single player game.

But I didn't play on co-op mode and I didn't use the cosmetic DLC at all (except the free ones). I didn't notice too many bugs or glitches while playing this game. If you did not pay for the DLC, the mirror will still have a few different colored variations of fur for you to try out, but none of the "clothing" items will be available. Listen, it will make more sense if you just get one or both of the free DLC and try it yourself. But you will LOOK like you have streams of light coming off your back, instead of the black bones from the evil bone wings. when you put on the Light Wings you still retain your Lifesteal and your backpack will still show the Evil Bone Wings are equipped. So if you get the free Light Wings DLC, for example, and you have the Evil Bone WIngs already equipped.

You still have whatever stats and buffs the ACTUAL equipment you're wearing gives you, these are just like a "pretty sleeve" that goes on top of your gear. They have no combat or exploration or farming advantages, no buffs. If you paid for those items, you will find them in the mailbox outside your house, then you can equip them by using the MIRROR in YOUR HOUSE at Thunderbunn Farm. The DLC for this game is all just cosmetic items that make your character look a little different. But all the quests are pretty simple to follow once you get started on them, the in-game quest journal has really nice descriptions of what you're trying to do for each one. In particular, I found ttwo quests hard to find the starting points and there were two that I found BY ACCIDENT which, according to comments in the forums, a lot of people miss. So my walkthrough will guide you through the game one step at a time. But there are a few side quests that can be a bit tricky to start because you won't even see the request for them unless you go to a certain place at a certain time with certain items in your backpack. The game is pretty straightforward, once you get used to the controls. It also has a few things that make it seem like they were planning to add additional dungeons and more boss fights, probably another week of in-game content (about 10 more real-world hours). So the game isn't really incredibly long, but it is intended to be played about an hour or two at a time so you can make it last over the span of a couple of weeks that way. But if you take your time, play casually, and spend a while doing 100% of EVERYTHING, it might take about 50% longer than that. It seems you can complete the game in about 30 in-game days if you really rush through it, this amounts to roughly 25 hours in the real world. I've played through the game three times now. Most of your time will be spent slaying monsters to collect the items they drop, which you need for weapon and armor upgrades, while you explore the world and help people out with some side quests. There are a few quests that require you to bring some veggies that you grow yourself to someone, but aside from that the farming aspect is totally optional. The farming is only there to make food that will restore your health, and make food to sell for profit that you can then spend on upgrades to your weapons and armor. Some people will call it a "farming simulator" but really the focus is not on farming but on the exploration and finishing the quests.
